    What does it Stand for when u guys refer to the pto cylinder

    Power Take Off ,PTO is the back cylinder and the magneto cylinder is the front

    A PTO shaft is what is referred too when you see a tractor with an output shaft out the back which can power various machinery like a worm gear that grabs corn kernals and lifts them into a truck. Or for example, on a wood chipper has the same PTO shaft to run the chipper head which is engaged when needed. Just thought a few examples would clarify that for ya.
