02 Freedom Electrical Box Picture
Hey, I am looking for a good picture of a 2002 Polaris Freedom Electrical Box. I need to install a 505 module and don't know where the wires connect to. I am pretty sure I have seen a picture of one someone online here but I can't seem to find it. If anyone can provide that picture or even point me in the direction of where it goes that would be fantastic. Thanks and Merry Christmas.........

The 505 box (start/stop/regulator) has 7 wires going to it. It sits atop the bracket which sits atop the CDI
Through the board they attach as follows
Red/purple-After circuit breaker
Orange-Bilge (through fuse) and Bilge Switch on bars

Thanks for the electrical layout craft, unfortunately the manual only gives you a very vague idea of where thing go and not a functioning electrical diagram. I think with the information you have given me I should be able to trace where these wires go. Now all I need to find is a 1/4 amp fuse... i mean really.. 1/4 amp, what is that all about.... LOL

LOL... thanks beerdart... i think i get hit with more than that every time i touch the front door knob after walking across the carpet. I did find a PDF an electrical diagram. The attached is a jpg of that file. One more question about that.
The two fuses on the board that is also the grounding strap are labeled as spares. The 3 amp would seem to be the one for the bilge pump. I just can't seem to find where the 1/4 amp fuse goes. Any ideas?
Thanks again guys........

As I recall in 01 it's still in the electrical box. Follow the red/purple wire that leaves the stator and goes into the electrical box, it will split and one wire goes to the circuit breaker, the other goes to the 1/4 amp fuse.

I think I will give that a try in the morning... thanks for your help guys... with any luck she will fire up tomorrow and then i will need to take a quick run out to the lake.... I will let you know.

Thanks for the help on this one guys. She pretty much "fired right up" after adding fuel directly into the cyliders. Now all I have to do is double check the plumbing of the fuel lines and what not to the carberator.
Onoe quick question, do you know what size screw part number #23 is. It is the screw that hold the 505 module into place.
