    Well,
if there was EVER a man in show business that needed a break, it was James Brown. That crazy-wild old fella was full of life. I was reading some of the stories online last night. Pretty funny about him running from the cops a few years back. They shot his tires out and he did some time. Only James Brown! Amazing how many modern day singers attirbute their own style to him, directly. Amazing even more is how many who do NOT.

He may be gone but his music will live for decades....Anyone remember the skit on Saturday Live when Eddie Murphy did "Hot Tub?" That was definately one to remember...

    RXP Steve!

R.I.P. James Brown, Thanks for the greta music and influence on American music.

Now since the 24 hr joke moritorium I always try to observe in cases related to death is almost at a close:

" I feel dead da na na na na na na"

    "Buried in America......"

"Papa's got a brand new Box"

Sorry, about all that, the wife won't let me make death jokes at home. In all seriousness, I heard last year he could still do the splits at his shows..that is amazing to me. What a performer.

---Steve I did crack with Ray Charles, in Georgia, but I can't talk about it.
