    If it did not work i would not have posted it !!! I did do this last summer, no other mods , I got 20 rpm's on my efi ski.

    yUp, it works. I noticed a smoother idle too + the 20 gain

    I use iridium plugs. No need to "J" gap.

    A big speed tip. Put a huge impeller on your ski and ride it in really cold conditions good for 2 - 3 mph

    What about the moth balls? That doesn't have anything to do with sheep does it?

    Moth balls are an old drag racing trick. You add them to your fuel tank and it boosts octane... till they crystalize and clog up you fuel system.

    make sure you correctly seal the pump shoe, make sure your impeller to housing clearance is minimal, yes, index and side/j-gap the plugs, a must, must do is like tommy said..blend the shoe and intake grate together to become as smooth as one piece, check the prop pitch to verify angle.and get the ride plate as high in the rear as you can. these all worked wonders for me

    my first full length post never made it.
    what that post said was, get the ride plate as high in the rear as you can, and then start shimming it down until a loss of speed is noticed, then go back to last setup.

    my computer is on the fritz

    getting the right parts is half the battle, tuning your ski to your specific riding style is the other half
