    x charger 42's 08 waterbox mod

Hey fellas I wanted to ask since I get great advice on here.

I recently just installed an X charger, 42's, 4" kanaflex to the front, and the 08 waterbox and midpipe mod.

My question is the following. I ran the ski yesterday and Im hitting 8120-8140 without a prop. I purchased a solas 14/19 before and decided let me run the ski without the prop to see where im at. Being that im almost close to banging the limiter should I install the prop or leave it the way it is with my stock prop.

Will I see better MPH by adding the prop?

Please chime in and let me know what you guys think.

Mike with that set-up you should use a 15/20 as well as an intake grate. If you move the intake to the rear that may also increase your R.P.M.s

Definitely need the 15/20. I have one for sale.

Wait! Are you running an IC. If not, the 14/19 will be sufficient. You might need to add a mm or so. But it is the right prop for that application. I ran 74.5 with a proper pitch from a 14/19. You will be on the limiter with it, hence why you need to add a little pitch to overcome that. Once you step up to the IC and RRFPR, you will need the 15/20. Good luck Bro!

Thanks for the feedback bro. I am running the stock intercooler so should I just slap on the 14/19 and go from there? Who should I send it to for a repitch if im banging the limiter.

Also what does it cost to repitch it.

Where are you located? I ask this because of who I will recommend. In fact, send it to Erik at SpeedFreeks. You will need to put the prop in and see where you are. You will need to let Erik know what percentage of throttle you are hitting the limiter. The goal is to be around 8160 or so. No more really.

Im located in Miami, Florida. I should be at 8160 with the prop repitched or before a repitch? I just thought running so close to the limiter was bad but what do I know.

what would you guys do? Put in the prop and see where im at or just leave it be with 8120-8140 RPM's.

what would be ideal with the 14/19 installed as far as RPM's

I didn't realize you were at 8140. Sorry about that. I miss so much when using the phone. It skips to the bottom. Sorry about that. Leave it be in that case. Sorry for the confusion.
