    Question yamaha 760 xl engine

Where can I purchase a yamaha 760xl engine. Ours blew a large hole in it and we need a replacement. I found a few replacement core places online but I have not been able to get them to respond to me after I send them a picture of my damaged core. I am thinking it may be easier to just buy a used one outright. Should I be concerned about anything in particular when purchasing a used or rebuild one. Thanks for your help.

The biggest concern is getting a good remanufactured PWC engine. The market is full of crappy remans. using cheap pistons, cheap gaskets, and cheap crankshafts.

I agree with cutlass, they use evrything cheap to maximize profit, you don't want someone else junk. it better to buy the part and rebuild it yourself, that is if you can wrench it, or send it out to a reputable rebuilder, there are lots of them on the here.
