    300x charger on a 260x

Has anybody tryed this? My supercharger on the 260 recently locked up and a member of this forum is offering me a 300x charger at a very reasonable price...I would like to know if it mounts on the 260x considering its the same motor...as far as tunning goes am not concerned i will be using bigger injectors and and a fuel pressure regulator...any help with this project will be greatly apreciated...thnx

    PM Waz.
I think he told me he was fitting one to a 250.
And if so I think he said it did have to be altered.
I could be wrong but its worth a shot.

i dont think it is a straight fit but someone with a bit of knowledge would be able to fabricate any brackets needed, remember the drive shaft is also a different coupling also cooling line from the cylinder could be an issue (in the way of the new charger)

i think you need to study your 260 and the 300 and work it out for yourself, for starters look at the parts diagrams and part numbers on here or check out the manuals.

If you get it worked out post up the four11. Many of us could end up with a broken charger and need to upgrade.

It's not that difficult just fab a bracket. Just takes some time. And a little thought.
