    Problems with te piranha C kit

    i had the supercharger rebuilt and ran 20hours and the clutch is defekt again.

    Is there a problem jumping with the rxp-x and a big supercharger?

    Is it getting too hot? i have the riva thermostat

    Numbers on the supercharger is 6867180 and 867151, is it another name on the supercharger?

    These Superchargers are from SEADOO CENTRE Australia...Built by Les Cooke .....They were incorperated into some of our kits but that was 4 years ago

    Ok, sorry i didn't know

    Do you know if its a problem with the clutch on theese superchargers, to much heat?

    Are you ocean riding mostly?

    Who rebuilt the SC? What clutch washers were used? Slip was set to????

    I ride in saltwater, much waves sometimes

    I dont know what the slip was set to

    With an SC that big you need to be VERY sure of those things.

    The Seadoo Centre C-Kit is a high maintenance SC (as are all big SCers). IMO not best suited to heavy ocean rec riding as your putting too much stress on the clutch washers (if your not prepared to heavily maintain it).

    I can't remember the SDC recommended maintenance hrs for the C-Kit but they are quite low. Contact SDC.

    It all comes down to how much maintenance your prepared to do for the SC you want to run and the type of riding you are doing.
