I bought a 2005 RXT with a bad charger(actually it is missing so will need to find one and rebuild it) I will pull the engine and clean out the crankcase , Check the bearings and pumps and probably replace timing chain and flywheel bolts. It has 150 hours and never had SC maintenance done. Anything else I am missing?

After getting all that figured out, the next concern in most peoples opinion it seems is the valves. What are the likely hood of dropping a valve? Same as the S/C failure - just a matter of when and not if? or is it a low percentage? I don't want to have to take the head off if I don't need to, but will if neccessary. As far as the valves, is it just the Exhaust valves that are the culprit or both?
