RXP now jumps into reverse when sliding out...

I mentioned this before and don't know if there's been a post about this, but I trimmed the reverse gate following the "rainbow" outline and ever since this is what I've noticed and happens. If I turn hard to purposefully slide the ski into a 180 and let off the gas, when I go to punch the throttle to take off in the other direction 99% of the time the gate flips down and I'm sitting there looking stupid! Okay, so maybe the stupid part is 100% of the time, but anyone else experiencing this? Could cutting that piece off the gate shaved off enough weight that it is no longer balanced or is now easily weighted to the closed position?

Sorry for asking but why are you making 180s?

What is the purpose of making 180s?

Chris, this has happened to a couple people after trimming the reverse bucket. All you need to do is adjust your reverse bucket and you will be fine.

Once you ride a ski with reverse you will never want to go back to the old way

Do you have a spring on the left side of your steering nozzle, that pulls the reverse back ?

That was the first thing I did to mine. Removed it before the first ride the evening I brought it home. I only dock when I'm by myself (which isn't often), even then it isn't hard at all
