    03 R12-X overheating issue

Does anyone know where cooling system blockages most commonly occur on an 03' R-12X ?? I hook up the hose to the flush port on the back, and nothing comes out of the pisser. It sat for a while since it was last run, but runs fine till it gets too hot. I blew compressed air thru the pisser hole, and didn't help. water is not going thru the exhaust manifold, and seems blocked at , or around the oil cooler... what can I do to clear the passages?
    Thanks in advance, Jason

Take the hose off top of exhaust manifold and try making a adapter to force water thru it . But I would unhook ic cooling lines so it has a relief so if pressure builds up in motor it has a way to purge without having to force water back to pump

I actually did that with a "T" fitting, it would flow back out thru the turbo, and back of ski, but not the other way thru the exhaust manifold. Then tried to go between the lower manifold hose and the oil cooler. It would flow thru the mani hose, but not thru the oil cooler.. any other tests, or things I could do to to find, and fix the blockage , short of pulling the whole damm motor??

The anode cover on the top of the exhaust manifold or on the front cover might have salt crystals in them. Do you have the cooling flow diagram?

    *************** Update************

Finally got the blockage cleared out of the cooling lines. (used draino gel) let it sit for a day, and blasted it out with 120 PSI of air. Ran on the hose, and no more over temp alarms.

Now I see a bad oil leak on the Turbo center section, near the upper oil feed banjo. WTF !! So I pulled the banjo, and inspect the washers, and they are good. Put it back together nice ane tight, but oil is still coming out right where the alum. compressor cover meets the steel center section, on top. Must be a crack, or rusted pin hole.

Does anyone know Where can I get a good replacement turbo cartridge from ??
