    Can someone tell me what they do when the dealer services and winterizes ?

    at service besides oil filter and plug? mainly 1st service what do they check?

    and should I winterize myself? and what does that entail ? stabil in the gas?

    Oil and filter change
    Fog engine
    Flush cooling system with anti freeze
    disconnect battery

    +1. They also remove water from the IC and fill it with AF as well. That could be covered under the section of 'cooling' system skoepp mentioned...

    oil + filter, fog,batt tender and a cheap ngs plug change if you keep in a garage over 32 deg.

    yeh I hear ya on the big bucks...

    they even round up an hour and a half to 2 hours ..they tells me it took and hour and a half and my bills is for 2 hours that BS

    if I do service myself does it void warranty ..there is also a independent jet ski speed shop by house was thinking of just using them.

    whats fogging? im still new to this so I dont know all these terms and abbreviations

    re

    it that stabil fog spray can or others like it.
    run engine with hose and choke it down so it coats the cylinders and internal parts.than store the ski...
    i have only done it on my 2stroke skis.
