Top end rebuild ?'s .... WSM or SBT ?

So I think I have to do the top end of my 951 ...
    (99 GSX-L)

Any opinions on going with a WSM or SBT top end kit?

I have heard mixed reviews on all SBT products and haven't heard much either way on the WSM products ...any input appreciated..

    Thanks

If you're keeping it for a while I would go ProX or OEM.

call members tweeker and mongoose2 at www.purrperformance.com I sent them my top end and they sent everything back all in a weeks time from Illinois to North Carolina. i was on the water that next weekend. superior service. priced just right. go pro X pistons. its not worth doing this twice going SBT

I have had good luck with WSM. Not fond of SBT. I have seen too many issues. I am going to look at pure performance myself.

I don't think I need to be bord out, I think I just need a piston, rings, and a cylinder sleeve .... Going to try and go with something other than sbt i guess you guys are suggesting...

you cant just re sleeve the cylinders. you may just need a light hone or 1 over.

I just went through the same thing, sounds like sbt and wsm aren't too popular. Spend the extra $ if you plan on riding it for a while.
