GP1200r getting tire of it, need some help

Ok I have posted on the sticky's for the stuff I've done but I never get any reply, so maybe here I will (I hope). Ok 2000 Gp1200r I done the accelerator pump convertaion, I've re-jetted to the specs and have put on a/m f/a. And I have installed a primer. My problem now is that it was running fine, but now its really hard to start, got to prime the crap out of it and hold it WOT to just get it to start and even after it starts does not sound like b4. Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Dre

Yes I know, but I am trying to figure out what the problem with the carb is. I just rebuilt the carbs at the begining of the season when I did the pump accelerator mod, it ran grate at 1st for a while and now it takes for ever to start up.

Is the primer working well/squirting fuel?
Its seems like it has to be a carb problem. I'd just start digging into the carbs and see if you can find something wrong.

Yes the primer is working fine, but I have to prime the crap out of it & hold it WOT to just get it to start. I am going to take the carbs of and go through them, just trying to see if there is anything I should be looking for in particular.

good point, low compression would make it hard to start as well.

100 psi per cylinder across the board just checked them, but I did find the clamp that keeps the pickup tubes tight to the tank was broken off, can this keep it from having the preasure to the tank, making it hard to push the fuel to the carbs?

If you are putting that much fuel in it, and then have to have wot to start, I would like maybe you are flooding it. Have you tried to start it with no priming and wot? you could have fuel leaking down the throat of the carb. Just a thought.

Well I pulled the pickup tubes while I was at it and the flap door was warped so I took it off, when I took the plugs out they looked liked it might had some water on them, so I drained the tank out and it had some water in it. Am putting some water remover and new gas, re install the pickup tubes and a new clamp and new plugs and see what happens, if same thing, then carbs are coming off. And yes I've tried to start with no priming and just the throttle be but it still won't do anything.
