97 GTi & 4-Tec 155
can it be done and will it fit? have a 1997 GTi that hasnt run in a few years... hull is in good shape just needs a seat cover and mats.
this was my first venture into ski's so i'd like to keep this thing around. its got a decent size tank it and seems like there would be enough room in the engine bay to make it happen.

The front mount "might" be on the wrong side. After that, it might drop right in. Remember the fuel sending unit is different, and you might need to do some pump/driveshaft work.
Sounds like a cool project. I HIGHLY suggest you find a complete running 155 ski before your start.
