    Question vac filter in between BOV and FZR Multi-Pressure Port Boost Gauge/Surge/RRFPR Adaptor

    FZR Multi-Pressure Port Boost Gauge/Surge/RRFPR Adaptor Kit

    Hi i was just reading Riva's instruction library for installation on there surge BOV kit.

    on page 4 illustration 8 the show a little vacuum hose filter, does anyone know where to pick one of these up?

    the part you are talking about is a small plastic filter with a polystyrine insert, this stops vapour or resedue traveling down the line, it can also act as a surge filter but surge from this line will be minimum.
    i didnt use mine and never have used them as they stop you getting 100% accurate readings.

    I use the non-directional filter provided with the riva BOV kit. IMO you can run the BOV without the filter no problem.
