    rpm loss

    i got an 05 gtx 185hp sc. sucked up a rock put new ring and impeller on. got a stage1. the impeller is a 13/20 r do riva"s impellers vary that much,i went from 7450 to 7100 r's

    Sorry your having these issues! This could be numerous problems: boost leak, SC slip, intake grate damage, pump bearing damage, weather........

    Bottom line you should get back to 7650 rpm limit.

    day 1 i started it too shallow it sucked up a rockand died i limped back before that running great 7450 69 on speado changed ring and impeller 7100 62 to 63 on speado sc seems fine

    impeller is to tall for a 185 de pitch to a 13-18 should get you to 7600rpms
