STX15 Jet pump impeller stuck on driveshaft
Have worked on this thing for about 8 hours and still can't get the pump out of the jetski. The impeller seems to be stuck to the driveshaft, I've tried heating it with propane, pulling it with my truck while the ski is on the trailer and still not luck. All of the bolts holding the pump housing in are removed including the ride plate.
I can get the pump back far enough to pop the rubber ring out and almost away from the engine coupler, but that's as far as it goes. The impeller will not rotate more than 15-20 degrees, I've taken the plugs out of the engine. I did get the cone out of the back of the pump bearing housing, pulled the seal off the bearing and it looks fine.
Do I have to cut the driveshaft? is this a common problem?

Can you put a slide hammer on it? That's what I used on my Ultra, worked fine.
