Green Hulk tops his best speed ever today!
I must say, learning to pitch my own prop is the best thing I ever did. I went out and nailed 76.6 this morning, but my RPM's were still down to 8300. I brought the ski home, took a bit more pitch out the prop and went back and ran high 77's all morning with a best of 77.9.
I think i took a tad bit too much pitch out of it as im banging the limiter at times so I had to trim up to the point where my RPM's dropped off slightly to prevent this.
I tried like hell to break 78, but I had a horrible cross wind and i couldn't track straight without putting a little pressure on the handlebars.
I think if i put a tad bit more pitch in it and I get a nice calm day i should see 78+

Tat's great news jerry!! congrats. I'm trying to learn how to fix my prop as well. Doyou take pitch out of the leading edge , or the trailing edge to gain rpms? I may be buying that pitch tool as in the near future

Awsome Jerry glad to see you back in the saddle again...

Psycho, you just change the trailing edge of the prop. I was told not to mess with the leading edge.
Man, this is starting to get fun again

Cool , I'll try that. I did a check to see if all 4 leading edges were the same, and found 2 off by a little. If I get all 4 the exact same , Then I'll try a litle less pitch to gain a few hundred rpms on the trailing edges.
