Look how much fun im having

Not really anything to do with skis, but i've been ripping the dash out of my vette to do some much needed work. Im replacing the 38 year old vacuum system. (the headlights and wiper door are vacuum acutated) You should see the condition of some of these hoses
The wire harness is pretty hard and brittle too so it looks like im replacing the under dash wiring. Talk about fun

Shouldn't this be in the anything goes section? Admin is going to get on to you for this!

I really miss my Vette... Thanks for the aweful reminder! But as soon as I sell my pickup I'm getting another one.

Hey Jer I had a Bright yellow 1968 convertible vette that I went completely thru. I did everything including all the vacuum hoses on the lights, wiper door and motor... It wasn't so bad because I had the motor out. I had a 468 ci with aluminum heads, direct port fuel injectshion and a Richmond six speed. She put down 529 hp at the rear wheels and that was through the IRS with a lose of about 65hp through it.... She ripped. At the 1/4 mile track on street tires she went 11.81 at 121 mph and that was with street tires and mufflers. And at the road course (which is how I set it up) she was unbelievable!!! What a great time!!!

Hey Jerry I was just looking at the photo again and you should install the rack N pinion set up!! It really great! I installed that and a hydra booster on the brakes because of the big cam I had and it steered and braked unbelievable....

Yea, the "Steeroids" rack and pinion is on my list of things to do as well as a GM Ram Jet 350 FI crate motor and a 5 speed OD tranny. Those things will have to wait. Too much $$$
