    Bleed New Injectors and Rail?

I just changed injectors. Do I need to bleed out the injectors and rail? If so how do I do it? Seems to me trapped air (when bouncing around in the rail) could do bad things when I test out my new mods tomorrow..

I probably won't be taking it easy once my spark plugs stare back into my eyes with that beautiful little light brown twinkle that sais put us back in and PUNCH IT. hehe! That turns on my GPS.

X2...a couple cycles will prime the system and you'll be ready to rock.

I was paranoid so I turned the rail upside down, put a cloth over my injectors. I disconnected the connector to the injectors and made up a cable that I connected to each injector (one at a time). Put the key in, then pulsed the first injector with 6VDC from my battery charger . I gave her a couple short pulses until I got a solid spray. Then I repeated this procedure for each injector. Yes air came out! 6VDC was enough for this and I was 10 feet away cause the connection causes a spark. I was worried that the air trapped at the top of the fuel rail may just come out when bouncing around. Don't know what this short lean condition will do to the motor. What if this happens at WOT?

We don't have a bleed valve and there is no rail return.

    Cheers!

Seems a little extreme, but whatever gives you piece of mind bro

FYI, All SeaDoo's 4-tec's used to include fuel line bleed valves... Just something else they have removed to reduce production costs...

Ya.. I'm not even sure if bleeding matters, but I figured for 20 minutes of work I won't be the one who finds out. Haha. Hopefully I don't find out other things... Like it's too cold tomorrow morning (7 deg. C) to run a X-charger with 42's, and a 4" intake WOT at high revs (due to a lightly pitched prop.) Hopefully the only thing I learn tomorrow is where my REV limiter kicks in.
