    My 2001 Pro 1200

OK I got it home last night. When I was there to pick it up, I put my battery in it and checked compression. 130 across all 3. I noticed when plugged in the bilge pump ran all the time. I am in the process of replacing the LR module right now. The electrical box was kind of rigged. The lug broke off the circuit breaker, and was bypassed, so I need one of those. Also the stator harness was cut, there is no plug inline. I am going to break apart the electrical tape wrapping and see what is there. I will be posting some pics as soon as I get it cleaned up a bit. Later today. The hull and exterior is immaculate. Almost showroom new. Just the way I like my stuff to be.

Right now I have a no spark condition. Just noticed the part number on the coil is 4010174. That shows for a 99 or 2000 1200. 4010342 is the coil on a 2001 as well as the 2000 Pro 1200. Will this make a difference? CDI part number is 4010372, which is for a 2000 Pro 1200. Will any of this cause a problem?

thats weird the newer stators had plugs on them anad there was no need to cut anything on a pro 1200 the whole box just plugs in
the coil should be ok they used several different ones

Im starrting to think its a stator. I just tried it and I am getting 9 volts out of the CDI brown wire when cranking. I am going to ohm test the stator in a bit. I bet the stator was replaced with one that didn't have the plug.

I bet the guy who installed the stator didnt know how to disassemble the plug to get it through the stator housing, so he just cut it off.
