    Thoughts????

I'm new to this forum and pwc's. I've only owned one 750 kawasaki ss with a sbt motor 2 stroke motor before. I've sold it and ready to upgrade to something bigger and better.
The sbt motor that i previously had fouled spark plugs very quickly and caused poor performance. I'm looking for a good value purchase that's reliable. Don't need the fastest nor the sleekest...just looking to have a good time ont he water and enjoy the summer.

I've listed the sellers ad and i'd love to get some advice. I'm lookign to get atleast three summers out of this ski.

I just had that exact same motor in the exact same ski crack a piston and take out the whole motor so I would say stay away.

That is a fine boat that you have chosen. SBT a a great reputation for seadoos.... not so great with Yamaha engines.

    I would say pass.

It'd be worth more to me with a worn out/cooked engine than it is like that.

i would pass. when dealing with powervalve engine that people rebuild sometimes can cause alot more problems in near future. trust me i know. if i were you personally i would look for an stx15f. they are really a great craft. lots of pulling power, will do 61 gps stock, handle great, good and gas, and very reliable. ive come accross a few at 3500$ range but they will save you money in the long run compared to a 2 stroke with a previous owner that had neglected maintenace.

You threw too much good money after bad money. You spend $2750 to get $3500, which means $750 in your pocket ( if you are lucky).
You could've sold the trailer for $350 and the hull for $400 and never got your hands dirty.

He didn't do anything. He is asking if he should buy the ski and listed the sellers ad.

As for the original poster, pass on it find one with a OEM engine.

Not even worth the time to type, the OP hasn't even signed in since a few minutes after he posted this 10 months ago. He possibly never even read any of this advise.
