    Flip left or right?

I just purchased a 1996 1100 ZXI. I heard that if you flip a PWC, you should roll one way to upright the PWC to prevent damage to the motor. Which way should I roll it? Thanks.

There are no stickers. That's why I'm asking here. I'm hoping somebody has one with the stickers and can help me.

I was told to roll it so the carbs go up.

Thanks for the reply. You are correct. Surprisingly, I found the owner's manual on the Kawasaki site. Roll to the left.

Counterclockwise from the rear means that the carbs go down.

Keep in mind that there is a picture in the manual that tells you how to flip it upside down for clearing debris from the intake. When you are upside down, it should rotate the opposite direction.

Here's how to know which way to flip a ski...

It's normal for water to be in the exhaust system. The engine cylinders should never have water in them. If you flip the ski so that the exhaust pipe goes above the motor, the water will go from the exhaust into the cylinders. When you flip it, be sure the engine stays high and the exhaust stays low.

Same logic applies for tilting a ski to check the bottom... keep the engine high and the exhaust low.
