    v force reed stopper

I recently acquired 2 sets of v force reeds. I took them apart to clean and inspect, and now that the time has come to reassemble, I realize that the inner reed stop/ spacer things are different. 3 are longer tnan the other by about 2 mm. Which ones should I use for the best overall performance?

These are the black cageded reeds.

    Thanks

    A few pics.

The longer one is 0.470" and the short one is 0.340"

    Anyone?
