Questions about Mikuni fuel pump kit?
I would like to put a high volume mikuni fuel pump kit from seadoo source on my hx. My boat is all stock. I have a newer set of carbs that I want to put on but I dont have the fuel pump for them. My question is can I just slap this pump on and block off the carb with the included plate and be good to go? I read in the description that some seadoo's use a restrictor in the return line on the non fuel pump carb. Is this something that I need to worry about?
Thanks for the help!!!

If your just using a newer set of stock carbs then it will be fine. I've done it and its cheaper than buying a direct replacement. If in fact you have two sets of carbs you can use the old block off plate. The restrictor is built into the carb body. The key to getting the high volume pump to work is to tee it and run a split to feed both carbs. If you keep the factory fuel routing you may flood the mag carb.

So you cap off one of the outlets and T the other to both carbs?
