I have personally never tried it on paint, but alot of people have on cars; interior and exterior. I don't think I'll be that brave to do it on my rides, but I have used it on government owned tires for tire shine.

Pledge probably strips any wax on the pait, which is very bad for the finish. If you just wax your ski every 7-10 hours, wash after you ride, and use a spray wax after each ride you won't have an issue with water spots. I use meguires for all my detailing needs. Mothers makes very good stuff as well.

Don't they use Pledge at boat shows since it has a greasy residue that makes the boats look really shiny?
