Sounds like a lot of work to me. I'm guessing it will keep the pump area a little cleaner compared to now. Not sure if there is any performance to be gained. Anyone?

To be honest I just like the way it looks. It will not be a big project. I have most of the stuff I need to do it.

It will be a ton louder! When the boats in the water the output is muffled a considerable amount! Be careful people hate PWC's already

Unless your talking about below the water line? but be careful because sudden slow downs could cause water inversion! unless you use a flap like the Boat units use Z

I was thinking he meant move it over by the drain plug like on newer models, yes up out of the water would be ridiculously loud.

You can do it but you need to patch up the old hole. I like the looks of it too.

I am wanting it down low to keep the noise down. Not sure what to do about water intrusion. I may make a loop in the exhust pipe to help with water problem. A flapper would help but I don't think it would be a sure way to keep water out. Since the ski gets turned upside down just about everytime I use it. I like having fun what can I say!!

A peice of almn. or SS will cover the old hole nicely.
