    Nice Sunny Gold coast skyline

Thought I might share our little surf adventure on the Gold coast couple weeks back with me and and 2 mates of mine.
Who said 3 seaters can't fly.
We normally get these another 1 mtr or so higher especially with when the waves are alot bigger, problem then is the surfs too big to take a camera but the 1 mtr surf that day was smooth for some superman and bronco action with the camera.
Nothing beats the modded and charged 4stroke skis in the surf for airs. Its the instant acceleration you want for verticle take-off. Bigger airs= more time for tricks.

Landing, if done right is smooth as silk. We hardly ever come off. You just have to keep the ski verticle and then you drop into the water, no bangs we usually bury the ski and ourselves upto the nose sometimes completely under water if its big air. Duck diving these skis like surfers do through large closing out surf is another fun thing. We crave for 2mtr plus surf.
You just have to be mindfull that when landing full submerged you have a 3 mtr long ski so want at least 3-4 mtrs deep water on landing otherwise hello ocean floor and smashed pump/transom.

Bronco tricks are alot safer on the ski as you are less high and spin the ski around and land on the nose facing towards the beach. Its great fun to launch of a wave spin around land and ride back into shore. Like in this shot. One of my mates is starting to try cork screw type roll broncos over the right size waves/conditions, he has nearly pulled some off a couple of times but has come off on landing. Its unreal to watch, But he is an ex motocross state champion.
