    GP1300R Help

Hello, I recently put in a rebuilt motor in my 2003 GP1300r and after hooking everything back up 1 of the cylinders has no spark. Does anyone know where I should start my troubleshooting. It was suggested that it could be the stator, but I dont believe I would have spark on any cylinder if the stator was bad. I changed the plugs, wires - all the cheap and easy things to replace. Any idea of which parts could be causing juice to run to 2 cylinders, but not all 3??

yes/true, there are 3 pick-ups, prove the circuits in all three, the specs are in the service manual.
check all wiring and connectors, check all connection in the box as well

I thought the stator feed power to the rectifier as a constant source. I didnt realize that each cylinder had its own independent pickup in the stator?

    Yup!

*I have an extra stator sitting at home. I'll try to remember when I get home to take a picture so that you can have a visual reference. I parted out an entire '03 ski and still have almost every electrical part available. When you find out what you need, I can help you out if you'd like.
