99 xp limited 951 oil injection system
Just purchased 99 xp limited has been garages for 7 years supposedly has under 20 hours on it and looks it..like brand new only had to give 1200 for it I cleaned the carbs and runs perfect. Just wondering about the oil injection system on it. is it reliable? Should I premix my own fuel. Just little leery about 2 stroke mixing it's own fuel. Have lots of dirt bikes mix my own gas and know they are getting lubed. But if it works fine and is something I don't constantly have to be worried about than I'll leave it alone. Thanks for any input you may have!

Check the fuel lines as well. They have been known to break down in some of the seadoos.

If the fuel lins say tempo and are gray change them to black coast gaurd approved fuel lines 5/16
The needle and seat will be stuck so take carbs apart , clean out fuel tank

Oil injection system should be fine. It comes in handy when you can just get gas anywhere and it auto mixes it for you.
Nice find on the XP
