    rear air owners .question

    just had my s/c updated and installed the rear air at the same time.seems like i hear a scrapping noise from the prefilter, s/c area? is this normal being now with the rear air and everything is opened up? this running on a hose with seat off by the way

    The noise is perfectly fine...What you are hearing is the sound waves bouncing off the hard plastic, kinda like an old school megaphone...Just make sure the prefilter material up top is secured well and won't get sucked in...Side note, on the rear grab handle, pop 2 holes on either side to allow more air to some into the intake...

    Take the prefilter off and see what happens. More than likely it is PERFECTLY normal. Here is a good example of a rear air.

    the pre filter kills any perfomance gains you will see..do a search danny did some flow bench testing..a screen may be good but that prefilter unless you are running in rough water i would leave off..

    I tried contacting the guy on here that makes those. I never got a response. He was going to make some more, but never contacted me again....

    thanks for the quick responces....sounded like to me the blades were wearing into the supercharger housing.
