    BRP Ultimate Playground dissapointing

Just went to the ultimate playgound here in SE Michigan today. Got .to ride a 2011 wake and a 2011 rxtx. That was the best part of the day. I liked the Wake, quicker and more nimble than I expected. I also was shocked at how well the rxtx handled. It was a bit to heavy for my liking though. Also got to see the 2012 rxpx. Got to sit on it, very cool, and talk a bit about it to the reps. I asked them if they could make the new 2012 rxp x 3 feet shoter and 200 lbs lighter. They said that most people want stablility and a larger machine. That is where it got dissapointing for me. Seems like I will have to keep on wrenching and riding my 96 and 03 XP's. Nothing coming in the near future.

I did enjoy getting to attend though. I guess it wasn't too bad.

    Anyone else go?

Why did they not allow demo's on the 12 RXP-X They brought down 4 of them, along with the new GTR for demo rides here in Florida a month ago.

    What of the GTR?
    215hp in a 765lb GTI hull...?

mebbe not 200 pounds, but 100 lighter than P-X,
still not quite as short as you'd like though.

if you've gotta have the 255, then just take the IC external and now you've (essentially) got a 255hp, 765lb ski w/ a few large left over for other mods.

My parents also attended. They said they had a great time at the event, but I was a little surprised Sea-Doo wasn't giving demos of the 2012 RXP-X.

It's not quite that simple.... you'll also need about 3 more pounds of boost, along with proper fueling modifications to support that.

No 2012 models available to drive. They only had 4 machines to try. All the boats were 2011's RXT-X, Wake 155, GTI 130, and a GTX ltd. I guess I cant complain. I did have a good time. I hope they come back!

That makes no sence to me.... why are they demoing 11 models this late in the year? Especially when they have several brand new sweet 12 model ski's that have been demo'd for well over a month now

I was confused as well. Maybe he meant '12's. Dunno. Very strange indeed.
