    Suggestions on a budget upgrade.....

04 RXP and it is time for a supercharger rebuild. I see x chargers with low hours on here for almost the same price that a rebuild will cost me but I'm sure I can't just bolt that thing on and go. Any suggestions that you guys might have? I am the kind of person that thinks that if you have to rebuild it then you might as well do it bigger and better. I would like to know what others would do if you were going to just moderately modify the ski? I.E. What other mods would you do for a moderate budget. I don't really want to spend more than $1200- $1500 on the ski but it is completely stock at the moment and my budget may be completely not in the ball park.

    thanks for any help

+1. Use the search function and you will see plenty of horror stories.

Regarding your question though - I would upgrade to an X charger, get or make a 4inch air intake, 42# injectors and a solas prop. That should come in under your budget and provide a nice boost to performance.

Don't expect that you will leave it there though. This chits addictive haha.

Yeah, but I would get a et 127 drop in wheel. Great step up. Reasonably priced at 299.00 via www.engine-tech.com. Great upgrade. And the 4" intake with 42's should be sufficient. Not sure if you'll need them though. Monitor your afrs. Mtx-l kit is kick ass!
