    just pick up a 95 slt 750

    i just pick up a 95 slt 750 with trailer for cheap but the motor blow a hole inthe piston and the guy before me pulled the motor and must of left it sitting open out side cause all the bearing were pretty much seized up and rusted along with the cylinder! still has the stock 2 outlet fuel pump! cdi and stator are stock im pretty sure! but everything else is fine do you think it worth puting money into!     No, the ignition system was fine on these skis. However, you should ohm test all the leads on the stator. A common problem on these skis was a melted ground wire to the stator. If the plastic battery cover was not used the E-box would cause a direct short and fry the stator.

    Shame the crank got rusted. That thing looks real clean. Even has rear seat handle.

    ya it wasnt like that when i got it! took me a good hour of scrubing to get it looking like that and 4 hours on all the
    motor parts, wiring and tubing in the hull still gotta take the tank out and clean them and power wash the inside of the
    hull! but she will be back up and going before next season! and now i hooked my self a 1996 sl780

    its a really fun ski. youll never get wet on it either. gets decent gas mileage too. just do the carb update and fuel system. check for updates too. I had a bad tank cap that was cracked on mine. I have the exact same ski. Ive had it 11 years.. you can spin 360's with it too. 2 people fit great on it . does about 48-50 mph and revs out at 6250-6300.

    nice ya i think i am going to fix it! its a good looking ski and it will be nice to have 2 skis
