Replaced pump shoe, now have minor vibration at 4 - 5000 rpms?

OK, Jim and I finally got the ski put back together after replacing the pump shoe ... we installed the pump shoe with the alignment tool in and it went in great and lined right up. We also installed a Riva ride plate which took a LOT of grinding to get it to fit right. On the water it runs great, but cruising at low rpms, around 4000 - 5500 rpm there is definitely more vibration. At higher rpms it is smooth and strong, but I am wondering about the vibration down low. I did not change anything in the pump other than putting in an 80mm ring for the cooler weather.

Has anyone else had minor vibration at similar rpms? I have to think it is a minor alignment issue but wondered if anyone could confirm or had similar experience ... I run a 15/20 4 blade and no nose cone for years.

Is that carbon seal ring aligned on the hat after you run it? I redid my pump shoe a month ago and wasn't aligned properly and I felt more of a vibration at lower Rpm's also..

Hmmm, good input, thank you. I need to double check that ... I forgot to put some oil on the O rings on the SS hat and it might not have seated 100% flat against the carbon ring.

My driveshaft was rubbing the inside of the carbon ring.. and if you used your pump bolts I found some are longer than others.. make sure your pump bolts don't hit your inside bolts in that spacer in the pump shoe.. as the alignment tool is much thinner when bolted and allows the bolts to go further in and can bottom out showing misalignment. Heres a pic of the different bolt sizes i seen.. not sure if this applies to all I borrowed the the alignment tool i used and had shorter bolts... check this pic out.. it was crazy. My original pump bolts were longer.
