Who makes the best stage 1?
This fall I am going to purchase a level 1 kit and an OPAS block off. I have seen all the various kits available. Who do you guys feel makes the best kit? Same with the block off. Any suggestions?

The Riva kit will get you the most bang for your buck.
Richard (way2fast) here on this forum will give you the best price. He is a Riva dealer.

there have been reports of the finish on the Riva block off plates fading or chalking up or something... anyone else here or see anything of this nature?

My block off plates from Riva have been perfect and the finish is still the same as if I just bought them. Over 100 hours on my RXP so far

I have 40 hours on mine and it seems a few weeks after I first put them on they faded, but I keep them nice and black with armor all

Yes, Faded here. 40 hours on them and they faded fast.

Riva uses an anodize finish on the blocks. It will fade but it won't peel and corrode from underneath like powder coated or painted aluminum does. Armorall keeps them and everything else looking new and shiny.
