I was in the process of removing my ride plate inserts and i puched a small pin hole in the hull the size of a small flat head screwdriver. I put a flash light in the hull but no light goes thru. however the impact was enough to bust a small amount of paint out thru the out side about 4mm long 3mm wide. theres smoe loose smc on the inside ofhte ski. its in the rear transome area in an very hard to see area. in not worried about the paint its very small but i want to repair the hull. do i use marine text or 5200 for the pin hole. or should i use resin and what kind. and what should i use to secure the inserts.

Marinetex is a very good epoxy that sticks to SMC very well.
And if Rich says its OK, its OK!
