    NOPAS

I read on ebay today an ad that said the opas block off kit added 2 mph on top end. This is BS right?

depends on what ski.... on a 3-seater it's completely possible as i've seen a 2-3 mph gain jsut from PVC!! the 3-seaters have a screen filter on the venturi that strains the water that controls the regulated pressure needed to raise and lower the OPAS fins at high speed... if my screen gets clogged those fins drag and you lose an hoenst 2-3 mph and sometimes more.... therefore i keep it jammed up with PVC now...

so if u have a ski that's been run for many hours, then upgrade to OPAS block off plates, you CAN see a substantial speed increase on a 3-seater
