    Rxp vs rxt rpm

    Hello all

I took my 2004 RXP out to the lake (Pyramid, CA 2600 Ft. Elevation). I saw to older folks on a 2 different 2006 RXTs ( STOCK ). I asked them what their max RPM is at the lake and they said 8140 RPM on one and 8150 RPM on the other.

Why am i getting only max 7800 RPM??????? as it got warmer i hit like 7600 RPM.

    * Knock sensor update & Pigtail installed, New wear ring, cleaned up Stock impeller, new BRP S/C washer kit, Oil is new/level is good(Just under top bend).

Could be a slight exhaust or boost leak.

Your not going to see it. Just check all your hose clamps are tight and what not. Is your oil level too high? How old are your plugs? Condition of your wear ring?

Plugs where new about 8 hours on them, wear ring new, oil is new with about 8 hours(just under top bend). Ski has about 67 hours.

check your slip. There are plenty of threads that can guide you. Do it on the bench or in the ski, but do it.

You're at 2600 ft. Mine at 2500ft (stock) was hovering around 7700rpm. Higher elevation=less air. She'll wake back up when you're lower!
