    help here please

can anyone explain to me why is that the vx comes with 18/22 prop and the fxho wich has more hp comes with a 14/20?
i did a conversion using a vx motor in a gpr hull ,and i cant find the right pitch for this appl.
i have try a new 14/20 and the engine runs like a mustang you can feel the prop over rew.
pump shoe /grate properly seal.[ i have done it before ] ,i'm going to try Friday a new 14/21 from inpros and find out.but i still think it will be to small pitch.

The VX has more torque and lower RPM. I think it also uses the same prop as the Boats.

Because it has a gear reduction it's not 1to1 ratio.

Bingo!!! The gear reducer is what gives it all it's power. I can only imagine what a gear reunion will do to a SHO motor

and in my case what prop, pitch you all recommend? i'm going crazy with this engine.i cant believed it has that much power.at first i was under the impression on have air problem. when and seal the whole pump with 4200,let it dry for more than 24 h . when out and it has the same scenario.cruising at 4000 rpm around 50 miles [ dash speed ] , from 4 k to wot no difference other than the engine goes to full rpm i mean into the red lines.
i have a true 14/21 that ive got form impros,im going to try that on friday.but i still think its to small.

    any ideas guys .please.
