Riva thru hull
so i installed my riva thru hull exhaust on my 06 rxt, now i can seem to get this part right i got the riva thru hull kit it came with a little black cap i used this to block off the fitting from where the bottom of the j pipe you have a tee i followed the hose from the bottom of the T and it went to the back part of the ski i think its called a trasom plate i blocked of that with the black cap and used the hose for the exhaust pipe with the gold bard fitting is this correct?

Yes this is correct, if you want to run the exhaust pisser on RXT. RXP is different in that this hose already goes to the oem exhaust outlet.
Make sure that plug is real secure!

Im about to install my thru-hull, seems pretty simple but it might be a bit nerve racking drilling a hole in the hull.
How'd you find the install?
What is the reason for the pisser that goes into the exhaust pipe just before the outlet? Is this to suppress noise? If thats the case, can you choose not to install it?

my question is which part do i block off the t peice or the part that is on the plate at the back of the hull

Both if you don't want to run the pisser
