    Riva Rear intake results

Night and day difference!! my ski seems so much more power;low, middle and high RPM. With stock 15/19 and full stage III kit on a cool day i could get 79 all day with a high of 80.1 MPH, today with Riva rear intake and the modified block-offs being all that had changed,i was turning 8550 @ 80.9 MPH.
I did notice a surge that I did not have with the Riva 3", it almost feels like the motor falls on it's face or lags when when you go WOT then pulls all balls. If you crusing and vary the throttle it's most noticeable.
Is this the surging i've heard about?

The modified block-offs work like a dream!!! high speed turns are so much more predictable!! I was going thur chop today @ 60 or so with another RXP and he was fighting it, mine was smooth as ever, tracking perfectly.

Did the valves about a month ago!! The revs are getting close to unsafe but I'm sure they will be gone first warm weather to come through.

Alex, I know your rpms were down when you first installed the stage III, How did you managed to get them that high without repitching the prop.

PS I am testing mine tomorrow (Riva Rear Intake)

    Jerry,

I could have walked it to you by now!!! What if anything can be done with the surging? You think the Riva 4" providing more air is causing it?

Alex, that surging you are feeling is the rev limiter kicking in. Get some more pitch in that prop and reap the benefit of more speed

If you are seeing 8550 you are already on the limiter
