Speed Needed for Pump Shoe Insert and Girdle kit?

At what speed do I have to start worrying about the pump shoe insert and girdle kit?
Do I have to use both together?
To put only one on, which one to use first?

    thanks,

If it's apart - do both - saves time later - worth the money

    Cheap insurance.
You want ever loose a grate or blow the front of the pump out.
If you had to put a number on it. 76-80 MPH.
    But that is anyone's quess.

Do them both at the same time. The pump shoe insert from SFR is good to have at 75+ as the front of the shoe starts to bow.... I put both on with the X-Charger setup. Really pleased with the results... better to be safe than sorry...
