    95 slt 750

Looking at getting a new trailer and found a 95 SLT 750 with a 03 Yacht club trailer for 500. They say its is good condition and runs great just needs a battery. Good deal? I was going to ask 400. Im waiting on pics. Any known major problems or other things to look for. Thanks

Thats a great deal for that. the trailer you could sell for 300,00 alone. do a compression check and if it hits 120, your good to go. just do all the updates for it like the carbs and fuel lines, ete,,,I have the same ski.

These skis have known issues... gas cap on tank inside the ski can crack, also known for holing a piston because of an old fuel system.. it gets weak and goes lean and viola,a hole.. the remedy is about 225.00 in carb rebuild kits ,new fuel lines, oil filter, gas filters, amd rerouting the fuel system with a new triple outlet fuel pump.

other than that, they are a blast. never get wet, gets on plane in 2 seconds, does 48-50 mph, peaks at 6300 rpms. spinning 180 and 360's are possible. sliding around corners, and rough water handling is all good on it. gas friendly too. full tank is about 4 hours riding.

Very good then. I plan on looking at it this weekend and supposed to be 80 up here. Thanks for the reassurance. I will be bringing a battery, plug wrench and compression gauge.

Great!! I really wasnt looking for another ski but this is hard for me to pass up. 45 would be fine for me. The lake my camp is on is only like 830 acres.

A passenger will definitely slow you down. You have 2 skis, what the hell are you doing with a passenger?????

The other ski isn't on a trailer just on a cradle with casters to move around the shed! I'm still painting the double trailer!

I offered $400 and she said $450 cause the trailer only has 200 miles on it. I told her id take it, even though I havent seen a picture of the actual machine. So hopefully later today I have it. Will take pics when I get home.

Well I finally got to start and try the ski for the first time. Overall it went well the ski idled about 1300 and I saw a max rpm of about 6300. It had a top speed of about 38 with a full tank. Does this use much oil? It doesnt appear to use much for the short time I used it maybe an hr. It didnt seem to accelerate real good. I have rebuilt the carbs and did the fuel line/pump upgrade. I did not check the pump yet (I know I should have) but will soon. I didnt see a typical grease fitting on the bearing housing? Here are some pics of before and after
