Virage TXi coolant routing?
Can anyone explain or show some pix on how the coolant intake hose routes on a TXi Virage?
From what I can tell it crosses over the tunnell, and routes forward, but im not sure if it swings back over and under the intake, under the engine, or under the exhaust log.
Im in the middle of installing a new engine, and don't have a before to go by. Pix on line don't tell the whole story.
Also where do most people mount the water pisser for the coolant from the EMM?
(Im doing away with the return through exhaust line)

Still waiting on this, But I think the hose goes under the engine...

I don't think that they would lay it under the motor, although I could be wrong. I'm thinking that it probibly lays on the engine cradle in the rear and goes under the exhaust log.... kinda maybe??? Definately run the hose through some loom. Here is a link to a much bigger version of the pic below:
As far as the EMM pisser, I would imagine you could put it almost anywhere. I'd probably go on the low side so it drains out when you tip the trailer up.

Thanks Crazy, but I had allready found that pic on a google image search.
I allready ran the hose, it does go under the engine. There is almost enough room under the motor to put a soda can (pop can for you northerners)!
It routes over the top of the tunnell, under the reverse cable to the left side of the engine, cuts under just forward of the rear left engine mount, and goes straight ahead. Comes out just below the oil pump, to a "T" fitting. The nipple on the left goes to a 9 inch or so long hose with another 90 on the end, which connects to the exhaust log. The smaller nipple connects to the lower stator cooling inlet. That small hose needs to be a "factory" 90deg hose - taking a hose and bending it WILL kink it due to the tight confines of the space. Been there done that.
Oh and it helps to attach to the exhaust log first, otherwise I don't think you could tighten the clamp on the hose with the log installed.
Hope this helps others. I searched and searched, then just had to spend some time figuring it out.
As for the pisser, Im thinking of putting it just aft of the gas filler, so I can easily keep an eye on it. Almost directly across from the EMM. Im just concerned if the water will be hot when it sprays back on my leg. Im thinking it will be warm but not hot at worst. Should stay pretty cool while at speed.
