Question Afr gauge mtx-l inovate is it stand alone or do i need the lc-1 kit

Trying to navigate the a/f gauge world seems confusing,
the mtx-l inovate gauge i notice on their websit, do i need the lc-1 kit or the lm-2 digital for the mtx-l gauge to work,

    is that mtx-l gauge stand-alone?

Nope the MTX-L is a stand alone unit. You don't need anything to run it.

Imho - gauges are eye candy. If you are serious you should log. Look at the LM2.

You can buy a MTX-L kit and log through a laptop.

It's through the gauge and you can add modules in series to monitor rpms boost etc....

Not necessarily. AFR is different to other gauges. IMO the reason you need an AFR gauge is because if you put in a new setup by the time it takes to get a log you could have already gone to lean and melted a piston. That's why I have an AFR gauge only. Everything else I view from my log files.
