Question R&D watercooled SC housing & Riva IC compatible????

Who has both units installed on their ski and did you have to mod anything to make them fit together.
I thought I had ready in a previous thread clearance issues existed.

Yes, you will have to do some modifications! (cutting)

I had to cut away a piece of the Riva IC bracket. The support gusset is in the way and I had to cut away a section of it. It is made of aluminum, so it is very easy to cut. The WC SC housing is much bigger and will hit. I did take a small bit off of the end of the SC outlet so that it wouldn't hit the IC metal U pipe. I'm not really sure that I needed to do that as I was fighting the bracket at the same time, but it does give me more room to maneuver it in place.

Here are two picts of the modified bracket.

In this second photo, if you can imagine that where there is a 90* cut, that this used to triangulate to the end of the bracket (toward the top of the photo). So I basically cut out a triangle. Before this gusset would have hit directly on the SC housing since it is so much larger (for the water jacket).

After cutting the bracket, I just put some black paint on the aluminum to match the rest of the bracket.

You must be getting some seriously low IAT's with that setup!
