what's the best place for stock ecu? 1k is a bit steep when I don't need more power than my 06 fxho already has, but while we're on the subject, what kind of performance gains would you get with something like this (1500 is only 500 more than oem).

You must have enough parts now to built 3 different race skis. When is one going to run? lol

FZR motor is run inn. Waiting on the turbo to be built. It would've been ready but i pulled the favour card for a forum member to get his ski going. Long story.

Motec has been pulled out and its sitting at GCWR.

GPR SHO , just waiting on the little things to come. Not to far away also.

Its been good , coz my back has been my main problem. Been off the water has done it the world of good.

OH , the seadoo is done and on the water.

Yes, and it's completely programmable. You will be able to adjust fuel and timing curves yourself as well as the rev limiter.

So what is the difference between the Riva Athena ECU vs. a stand alone ECU such as MoTec or ViPec?

Do you lose the cruise control and no wake features on the SHO with the RIVA/Athena ECU? I had the ViPec for two weeks and lost these features among other issues... so I returned it. I bought the SHO for these features so I moved to the R&D r2 re flash and ran it for a year and then upgraded to the r3 re flash and couldn't be happier. I like how the RIVA/Athena ECU dash logger shows gps speed, boost pressure, rpm, lambda, etc. I have noticed how the price of the ViPec keeps on going up and up. Has anyone else?
