    215 engine block

    what year model engine blocks are the same as 2007 215 supercharged gtx or is all the 4 tec blocks the same do some have chrome sleeves or steel are some better than others i need a good block but don;t have 25 post yet so can not post on classified any infornation would be appreciated thanks kent

    i pretty sure you need a 06 and up block to work, there are ways of making the older blocks work but sounds like to much of a hassle.

    thanks mikelytle 1077 i have built racecars and parts for years so i know you guys are the way to get information i have only been playing with jetski for three years this is my first 4 stroke i see some parts on here that we may start building for this ski

    Only difference I know of, has to do with oil jet system. I'd like to get 600 + s&h

    that sounds good i would like to see what some of the other guys say about the difference in the two was it a supercharged engine if it will work i will take it

    The only difference I know of is 05 and down have an oil restrictor that has to be removed if using 06 and up rocker shafts in the head. The restrictor is in the top of the block where the head bolts on. Also there is a different number of grounding bolts on the front of the case but thats no big deal either

    thanks ggg i am going to use the parts out of mine do you just remove the restrictor or drill them out thanks kent

    i think theres something else with the crank trigger as well on the older block thats has to be switched or modified
